      • Step 2) Make sure the ice maker is activated by selecting cubes or crushed.
      • Step 3) Make sure the refrigerator doors are properly closed.
      • Step 4) Restart the ice maker by pressing the reset button. After restarting the ice maker, wait 24 hours and see if the ice production started. If you still have problems fixing samsung ice maker then read the rest of the guide.

Bad Taste / Smell ice

The water should be sufficiently removed in the initial installation. 2. If the water connection is bad, possibly contaminating water line.

    2. In case of contamination of the water flow path.
      • When you install the water connection, do not forget to install the water filter before dispensing water. If water is dispensed without the installed water filter, water hose and tank become contaminated. And once it is polluted, it is difficult to clean.
    3. In case of contamination of the filter.
      • If your refrigerator is not new, and you experience an odor in ice or water, replace the filter. The filter can not be clogged, but may be contaminated with excess impurities. Then install the new filter, clean the dispensing system with 2-3 liters of water.

Low ice production

If your refrigerator does not produce enough ice, please follow the following steps depending on the case needed in order to reach your goal wich is fixing samsung ice maker
  • If your refrigerator is newly installed.
    • Step 1) Check the water supply valve and connection.
    • Step 2) Make sure all air purifying system. Air purifying system dispense approximately 1 liter of water from the water dispenser on the front of the refrigerator.

    • Step 2) Check that the ice maker is turned on by selecting cubes or crushed.
